What to expect
I always like to get to know my clients a little before the day of the shoot.
We might meet up for coffee or have an extend chat on the phone so that you can ask me any questions you may have, we can plan your styling and location and I can learn about you and your expectations for the photo shoot.
Sessions typically last about one to two hours, and are very laid-back with no harsh lighting, cumbersome gear, or assistants.
A boudoir shoot should be done wherever you will feel most at ease. This could be your own home, a hotel room, or a secluded spot outdoors—really anywhere with adequate lighting can be striking.
Photographers have a sixth sense about when their clients feel vulnerable, and I will do whatever is needed to alleviate any tension.
Champagne and music can do wonders for ambiance, but if that isn’t your thing, be assured that after the first few clicks, and some gentle encouragement, you will loosen up.
Some clients will prefer to stay mostly under a sheet or pretty robe, and some are daring enough to go more risqué. There is no right or wrong, and either way will be elegantly provocative.
After the shoot I will take a few days to sort through your pictures and gently retouch them. I do not use Photoshop harshly or to change your body and features in any way, but I will add some subtle and artistic touches that will make you love the final images!
About two weeks later we will meet again and look through your beautiful images together.
